How to find your bra size

Your bra size is found by measuring your underbust and bust measurement.

The underbust measurement will tell you your band size, and your bust measurement when checked against your band size will tell you your cup size.

Sister sizing

Sister sizing refers to sizes other than your "true" size that will fit you as well.  Bra sizing is not not like clothing sizing in that the volume of the cup varies for each band size and works like a ratio to the band size.  If you size up a band size, you’ll go down a cup size and if you size down a band size, you’ll go up a cup size.

This is why we have such a wide range of bra sizes listed under our tie-back underwire tops.

Small band / large bust

If you have a small band + large bust, we are happy to alter your tie back top free of charge to fit more firmly at the back.  Just email us immediately after purchase with your order number and request and we will fix it up for you and send it out. 

Note this alteration is suitable for 10E cup and larger - smaller cup sizes should work perfectly with our ready to wear sizing.

Please note we are unfortunately not able to alter hook back tops to fit in the same way.

How to Measure

UNDERBUST                                                     

This measurement determines your band size. Hold the measuring tape directly below your bust. Wrap it all the way around, keeping it straight and close against your skin.(Note: this measurement is usually NOT the same as your dress size).

BUST                                                             

This measurement determines your cup size. Place the measuring tape across the fullest part of your bust (over your nipple) and wrap it around around.  This measurement is best taken while wearing a bra.

WAIST                                                                 

Measure your natural waistline around the smallest part of your waist (not where you want your pant to sit!). If you're not sure, bend to one side - your natural waistline is where your skin creases.

HIP                                                                        

Take this measurement over the largest part of your hips. This is usually found over your butt, not at your hip bones.
