Garment Care

To extend the life of your Snorkelbear swim, we recommend the following:
  • Avoid rough surfaces like rocks and pool edges (particularly for more delicate fabrics)
  • rinse in fresh water immediately after use
  • Hand-wash using a gentle soap and dry out of the sun; OR (as we like to do)
  • wash in the shower after wear using your body soap or shampoo – rinse thoroughly and hang to dry in the shower
  • do not line dry for long periods of time
  • avoid drying in full sun
  • do not machine wash, tumble dry, bleach or iron
If you absolutely have to machine wash, use a delicate cycle and a lingerie garment bag. We like the Guppyfriend, which catches microfibres and saves them from the ocean. You can purchase them here.
